It seems theyweren't afraid to experiment a little and factoring in their uppers usage, out came a spastic,hyper freight train of an album. While their debut might hold much more developed songs, Life IsPeachy wasn't afraid to be all over the place and at the same time make that clutter completelywork. It's been a 5 in my heart ever since 1997.It's a crime that this album doesn't have a review.It's rare that an album holds such staying power. It's always a pleasure to revisit, great blend of shoegaze and grunge influences.

The posthumous release of this legendary emo-rock recording finds the band with exactly the same style and demeanor of its amazing The Power of Failing. Although the music and feeling are nearly identical, the sharper production gives the record an almost glassy or plastic feel, placing it far below the raw beauty of the band's earlier work.
